I appreciate your help to get this e-mail account working. This form won't allow me to add screenshots so here is a summary of the Outlook (in Office 365) settings on my new computer. The new account on my new computer does not ask for a password. If I tried to send a message, I was prompted to enter my login and password again. On my old account, I had to log in with my password before Outlook download messages from Gmail. If I use the Gmail web interface, I see new e-mail messages in my Inbox thatĪrrived since but they are not downloading to Outlook. The newest messages in my Inbox are the ones that were in the Mark's Gmail Account.pst file that I copied over from my old computer several days ago. Every time I open Outlook since then on the new computer, it tries to download another 350 or so messages making the Inbox grow larger. When I launched Outlook on the new computer, my Inbox grew to over 3,000 unread messages within a couple minutes. At the POP and IMAP Account Settings window, when I clicked Next, the automatic test of my account settings passed. Up my Outlook (in Office 365) account on the new computer using all of the same settings as on the Outlook 2010 account on my old computer. Following online instructions, I configured Outlook and Gmail to work together in POP mode. I set I copied my Outlook Gmail.pst and archive.pst files from my old computer to the new one. Recently I bought a new Windows 10 laptop and am running Office 365. Within Outlook I have many e-mail folders and thousands of e-mails including about 1800 unread messages in my Inbox. I have been using Outlook 2010 as the POP e-mail client for my Gmail account on my Windows 7 laptop for years.
